Norlhais a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, NGO, association based in Lausanne, Switzerland, that supports remote and poor communities in the Himalayas to improve their lives in terms of food security, additional income, sound environment, gender equality. Currently Norlha is looking for an experienced person to manage the information systems (IS) used by the staff
IS Manager (F/M)
volunteer position / part-time 10-20%
The IS Manager will have the crucial role of supporting local and international staff and managing a variety of tasks in IS and other related responsibilities. This is an excellent position to experience the work of a dynamic organisation.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
· Optimise, document and communicate IS administration procedures
· Responsible for local infrastructure
· Technical support to Norlha staff
· Identify and propose solutions according with the NGO’s requirements
· Complete the migration to Google Apps
Candidate profile:
· Working experience in IS/IT, ideally in an international environment
· Knowledge of client and server systems, networking, ideally experience with Google Apps and Wordpress.
· Conscientious, organized, flexible and autonomous on the technical choices
· Working knowledge of English and French
· Interest in the Himalayan populations and adherence to the values of Norlha
· Experience in a NGO as an asset

This part-time, long-term volunteer position is not paid and an applicant must have a currently valid working permit in Switzerland
